Anniversary of 17 November

Every year, on 17 November, the greek schools honour the students who sacrificed their lives against the greek Junda in 1973.Our school welcomed mrs Kalfakakou,professor in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, who was one of the heroines who fought against the dictatorship. A student at university those days, she became one of those that struggled, got arrested and eventually put in jail to be tortured.Mrs Kalfakakou talked with the students who tried to connect the historical approach of the past with the reality of the present.
