Celebration of the Greek War of Independence of 1821




March 25 2008


Our school organised a celebration to honour the people who sacrificed their lives for a free country, those who believed, organised, led and finally died for freedom!


Our students read abstracts from the original texts of those who wrote the history of Greece!
The dances of the celebration were chosen for their symbolic meaning!

The second picture shows the heroism of the rebels and the first one how the Turks cut the fighters' heads off!


The messages they bequeathed were that 'All nations have the right to be free',


'To be free, virtue and daring are necessary'




The celebration was prepared by the teachers Aikaterini Karakonstantaki and Panayotis Sverkounos.

Not painting but "experimenting"







The students of A grade of our school had to find the ph of some solutions by using indicators.So they made an experiment in the school laboratory and they were happy for the cooperation with their classmates.
